Job summary
Seagate Technology in Singapore seeks an automation/maintenance technician to support uptime and quality in a high-volume electronics environment. You will work on downtime reduction projects, assist maintenance and production teams, and monitor line performance with regular 5S and PM activities.
Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering is required; candidates must be willing to work a 12-hour night shift in a clean room. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

- Willing to work in 12-hour night shift (7.30pm–7.45am).
- Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Maintain robot downtime, safety hazards reduction and cost saving projects.
- Provide support to Maintenance and Manufacturing for smooth running of production lines.
- Monitor product performance status, 5S and monthly PM.
- Support product engineers on engineering experiments and software evaluations.
- Monitor line issues and yield; perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- Maintain the robot downtime ,safety hazards reduction and cost saving projects
- Provide support to Maintenance and Manufacturing for smooth running of production lines
- Monitor product performance status,5S and monthly PM
- Support the product engineers on engineering experiment and software evaluations
- Duties also include monitoring line issue and yield
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related Engineering Diploma
- Self-motivated and positive working attitude.
- Team player with good problem-solving skill.
- Willing to work in clean room environment.
- Willing to work on 12hr (7.30pm to 7.45am) night shift pattern
- Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
