Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced engineer to design and develop equipment, tools and fixtures that enhance manufacturing efficiency at our Singapore site. You will plan and run experiments to qualify processes, prepare validation reports and training materials, and support automation projects.

You will apply Python, Power BI and other programming skills to drive data-driven improvements, while ensuring GMP/GDP compliance and safe operations in a 12-month contract that could be

Qualifications

• Degree holder with engineering/scientific background.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in Industry 4.0/5.0 and robotics programming.
• Familiar with GMP/GDP and validation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop equipment, tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.

• Develop, execute and analyse experiments and tests to qualify and validate manufacturing processes.

• Prepare technical reports, validation documentation, work instructions and training materials.

• Support automation and process technology projects, including data collection, deployment and troubleshooting.

• Apply programming and data analysis tools to support engineering projects and manufacturing improvements.

• Provide technical guidance on software coding and development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and minimise operational risks.

• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, a scientific discipline or an equivalent field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience.

• Proficient in Python, Power BI and other programming languages.

• Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

• Experience leading Industry 4.0/5.0 projects, including robotics programming or AI-assisted programming.

• Knowledge of C# programming is an advantage.

• Exposure to robotics foundation models, Vision Language Models (VLM), Vision Language Action (VLA) models or Large Language Models (LLMs) for industrial applications is an advantage.

• Experience in the medical device industry, GMP/GDP, validation, CAD or statistical techniques is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.

• Able to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Additional Information:

• Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable and potentially convertible to permanent employment.

• Location: Changi, Singapore (on-site).

• Salary: Up to $6,200 per month.

• Interview Process: Two rounds of in-person interviews.
