Job summary

The Public Service Division is seeking a professional to join the Waste Management Division in Singapore. You will help plan, develop and implement waste management policies and initiatives, with a focus on the Beverage Container Return Scheme.

You will administer the scheme, ensure compliance, conduct audits, and engage stakeholders to deliver effective results. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Engineering fields and have 5+ years in Sustainability/Waste Management, plus strong organisation,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in Sustainability, Environmental, and/or Waste Management.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Willingness to work after-hours or weekends if needed.
• Fresh graduates will be considered with relevant internship experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and regulate the Beverage Container Return Scheme and engage stakeholders.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and review of reports to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate stakeholder discussions, briefings and public engagement activities.
• Assist in industry consultations and briefings as assigned.
