Job summary

The Reverse Logistics Group (RLG) seeks an EPR Compliance Specialist (APAC) to manage regulatory obligations across Asia Pacific, with Singapore's Resource Sustainability Act as a focus. You will monitor developments, advise clients on obligations, prepare reports, and coordinate with PROs and authorities to ensure timely filings.

You'll support business growth with regulatory expertise, help clients navigate evolving environmental law, and collaborate with operations, sales, and consulting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Law, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in EPR, environmental compliance, product stewardship, sustainability, or regulatory affairs.
• Strong understanding of APAC environmental regulations, including EPR frameworks for electronics, batteries, and packaging.
• Experience working with multinational clients and cross-border compliance projects.
• Knowledge of Singapore's EPR and Resource Sustainability Act requirements is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple countries, deadlines, and regulatory submissions simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and regulatory/compliance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor EPR, packaging, battery, e-waste, and other environmental regulations across APAC countries.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and advise clients on applicable compliance obligations.
• Prepare, review, and submit EPR registrations, declarations, statutory reports, and compliance filings within regulatory timelines.
• Coordinate with government authorities, Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs), recyclers, and external stakeholders.
• Analyze client product portfolios to determine country-specific EPR applicability and reporting requirements.
• Maintain regulatory calendars and ensure timely completion of all compliance activities.
• Track legislative changes and communicate regulatory updates, business impacts, and recommended actions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support compliance audits by maintaining accurate documentation and responding to regulatory queries.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and consulting teams to deliver end-to-end compliance solutions.
• Develop compliance guidance documents, SOPs, and client presentations.
• Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes through automation and standardization.
• Build strong client relationships and provide ongoing regulatory advisory support across the APAC region.

Role Summary

The EPR Compliance Specialist (Asia Pacific) is responsible for managing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and environmental compliance programs across the Asia Pacific region. The role monitors regulatory developments, advises clients on compliance obligations, prepares statutory reports, coordinates with regulatory authorities and Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs), and ensures accurate and timely compliance submissions. The position also supports business growth by providing regulatory expertise and helping clients navigate evolving environmental legislation across multiple jurisdictions. Singapore's EPR framework includes regulated obligations for e-waste producers, packaging reporting, and related environmental compliance under the Resource Sustainability Act.

Key Responsibilities
