Job summary

Stripe is seeking an Engineering Manager for the APAC & EMEA Cards team to lead the delivery of card payments capabilities across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. You’ll drive strategic, product, and technical decisions, and work to expand Stripe’s global payments network.

You will grow engineers on the team, raise technical productivity and reliability, and partner with Stripe leaders to shape the roadmap. This is a high-impact leadership role with broad cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• 3+ years of Engineering Management experience.
• 7+ years in a Software Engineering role.
• Demonstrated ability to define and drive complex initiatives.
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Author Stripe’s card payments strategy in APAC & EMEA.
• Develop engineers on the team and advance their careers.
• Empower the team to achieve high productivity, reliability and simplicity.
• Manage processes to interface with Stripe and enable best work.
• Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of the EM team.
• Recruit great engineers, in collaboration with Stripe’s recruiting team.
