Job summary

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering teams and maintain technical standards, specifications, and project requirements
  • Review engineering drawings, layout plans and technical details before site commencement
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams to resolve day-to-day issues
  • Coordinate with system vendors, subcontractors, suppliers and clients on technical and interface matters
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions to project and site teams during construction, installation, testing and commissioning
  • Ensure works comply with contract requirements, approved plans and authority regulations
  • Identify and resolve design clashes, constructability issues and site constraints
  • Oversee QA/QC processes, audits and inspections
  • Support planning and sequencing of works to meet project timelines
  • Monitor workmanship quality and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
  • Support value engineering and alternative technical proposals to optimise cost, quality and programme
  • Prepare technical submissions, reports and as-built drawings
  • Assist in inspections, testing and handover documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, E&C, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5–8 years experience in construction projects covering civil & ECE works
  • Experience in design coordination, technical project management and site support
  • Ability to resolve design clashes, constructability and integration issues
  • Good coordination, communication and leadership skills
  • Willing to work on-site and flexible with shift work including evenings, weekends or as project requires
