Job summary

CBRE Singapore is seeking a confident, hands-on Engineering Lead to oversee engineering operations for a leading technology client in Singapore. This client-facing role requires interpersonal excellence, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive operational excellence across the site.

You will lead the engineering team, manage vendors and contractors, and ensure all building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant facilities or engineering operations experience.
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Independent, proactive, and able to perform well in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience leading engineering teams, vendors, and site operations.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations for the Singapore site.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted operational partner.
• Manage and mentor the engineering team, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership.
• Oversee vendors, contractors, and service partners to ensure quality delivery and compliance.
• Ensure building systems, preventive maintenance, and critical infrastructure are operating effectively.
• Drive operational improvements, problem-solving, and quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Support budgeting, reporting, scheduling, and maintenance planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and workplace standards.
