Job summary

CBRE Singapore is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to manage critical environment infrastructure and deliver best-in-class operational standards, ensuring high uptime and reliable services for clients. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support energy management across building systems, while adhering to safety and codes.

The role requires 2–3 years of related experience, physical endurance, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of job-related experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Combination of experience and education considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under supervision.
• Manage incident and escalation, engineering problem solving, fault finding and root cause analysis for the region, interfacing with client and vendors.
• Putting in place measures to maintain 100% uptime of the Critical Environment Equipment as part of the SLA / KPI.

About The Role

This position is responsible for the management of the client’scritical environment infrastructure and practical delivery of best-in-classoperational standards resulting in an excellent engineering service.

What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
• Manage incident and escalation, engineering problem solving, fault finding and root cause analysis for the region acting as the primary interface with the client, local vendor partner, and other stakeholders.
• Putting in place measure to maintain 100% uptime of the Critical Environment Equipment as part of the SLA / KPI.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
