Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Singapore is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to lead the development and execution of sustainability programs across our building portfolio.

The role focuses on environmental and social initiatives, including energy, water and waste strategies, and Green Mark certifications, with collaboration across owners and development teams to translate strategies into actionable property-level actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (engineering) with 3-5 years in sustainability.
• Fresh grads are welcome to apply.
• Diploma holders with 3-5 years experience welcomed.
• SCEM/GMAP/CFME Tier 3+ recommended.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support building owners on feasibility studies of engineering solutions and life cycle costing.
• Basic knowledge on ACMV system design to achieve efficiency.
• Develop and execute energy, water and waste strategies and assessments.
• Oversee and manage Green building certification/re-certification of buildings.
• Advise building owners on environmental sustainability matters.
• Conduct walk-through audits, measurement and verification of building performance.
• Conduct site assessments and produce reports; ensure data collection and reporting is efficient.
• Translate sustainability strategies into actionable initiatives at property level.
• Draft and prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for stakeholders.
• Work with development teams to track and report initiatives.
• Prepare short reports, track project status and meet deadlines.

What You’ll Do

• To support building owners on the feasibility study of engineering solutions and conduct life cycle costing to improve productivity and efficiency
• To have basic knowledge on the design of ACMV systems and M&E services to achieve operational and cost efficiency
• Develop and execute energy, water and waste strategies and assessments to drive the sustainability agenda.
• To oversee and manage the Green building certification/re-certification of Buildings
• To advise building owners on environmental sustainability matters
• Conducting walk-through audit, measurement and verification of building performance to analyze and propose improvement.
• Conduct site assessments and producing reports for sustainability areas or environmental concerns, ensure data collection and reporting requirements are not onerous
• Translate sustainability strategies into actionable initiatives to be suitably applied at the property level - for each property in the portfolio
• Draft and prepare reports, presentations, and proposals; presents proposals and recommendations to the relevant stakeholders
• Work with various development teams to ensure environmental sustainability initiatives are in place and actively tracked and reported as required
• Prepare short reports, track project status and meet scheduled deadlines

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's Degree preferred (ideally in Engineering) with 3-5years of relevant experience in sustainability or a related field
• Fresh grads are also welcome to apply
• Diploma holders with at least 3-5 years relevant working experiences are welcome to apply
• Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM), Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP), CFME Tier 3 and above are highly recommended
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve moderately complex issues
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively and manage sensitive situations
• Proven ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholders with shared interests
• In-depth knowledge of sustainability best practices and industry standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset to drive continuous improvement in sustainability initiative
