Job summary

Personnel Link JobHub Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturability improvements and lead design transfers from R&D to production. You will optimize reliability, manufacturability and cost while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

In this role you will provide DFM and DFA input during concept development, design reviews, and prototypes, and create detailed manufacturing workflows and work instructions for new products, plus handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in manufacturing/advanced manufacturing supporting product development.
• Experience with mechanical/electromechanical content and design for manufacturability.
• Ability to improve manufacturability, reliability and cost.

Responsibilities

• Provide DFM and DFA input to R+D during concept development and prototyping.

Job description

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) & Design for Assembly (DFA) input to R+D teams during concept development, design reviews, and prototype iterations to optimize manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
• Challenge new product designs to improve efficacy, reliability, manufacturability, and cost of product.
• Lead design transfer activities from R+D to manufacturing, ensuring seamless handoff of new products.
• Create manufacturing workflow processes, and detailed work instructions for new product.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field with min 6 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, process engineer, or advanced manufacturing engineer supporting product development with significant mechanical/electromechanical content.

Salary: Up to $6K

Location: East of Singapore
