Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a skilled manufacturing engineer to improve efficiency, quality, and cost across production lines at Kaki Bukit.

You will implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, train operators, and collaborate with Production Engineers to resolve issues while ensuring ISO13485 and GMP compliance. 1-year contract, renewals possible.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing/engineering; prior medical device industry experience preferred.
• Familiar with ISO 13485 and GMP; experience with SAP and MES.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, reliability, and cost.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis with Production Engineers to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Train production personnel on procedures while ensuring SOPs, 5S, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
• Support process and equipment validation and participate in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.

Job Overview

• Located at Kaki Bukit
• Monday – Friday
• 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Up to S$3,000 per month
• 1 Year Contract with 2 Months completion bonus (Renewable / Convertible)

• S$110 Transport Allowance
• S$80 Mobile Allowance

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, product quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting support, assist with failure investigations and root cause analysis, and work closely with Production Engineers to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Train production personnel on new and existing procedures while ensuring manufacturing activities comply with SOPs, quality systems, 5S practices, and workplace safety requirements.
• Support process and equipment validation, monitor critical manufacturing components and consumables, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Skills/Experience Required

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment; prior medical device industry experience is preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, and related manufacturing tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), with proficiency in SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with good time management, leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
