Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a Validation Engineer in Singapore to join a forward-thinking team developing state-of-the-art storage solutions. You will validate SSD devices, develop test plans, and work across Windows and Linux environments to ensure flawless releases.
The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience with SSD validation, motherboard/server architecture, and PCIe/NVMe protocols, with a focus on rigorous defect analysis and continuous improvement.
As a Validation Engineer at Micron, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that participate in the development of state of the art storage solution. You will solve complex problems, be responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute validation test plan on SSD devices on PC systems
Analyze and writes test standards and procedures.
Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality, recommends andimplement testcoverage improvementactions
Perform Failure analysis and work with other function groups to resolve SSD system issues
Providesystem analysissupport for customer or yield related issues.
Improve customer integration experience.
Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Experience in working with motherboards and sever architecture, including setup and troubleshooting
Experience in SSD validation or firmware coding
Familiarity with PCIe and NVMe storage interface protocols, as well as Windows and Linux operating systems
Project planning skills is a plus
Experience using PCIe/NVMe bus analyzers and Analogue/Mixed Signal scopes would be beneficial
Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes
