Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a Validation Engineer in Singapore to join a forward-thinking team developing state-of-the-art storage solutions. You will validate SSD devices, develop test plans, and work across Windows and Linux environments to ensure flawless releases.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience with SSD validation, motherboard/server architecture, and PCIe/NVMe protocols, with a focus on rigorous defect analysis and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience with motherboards and server architecture, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in SSD validation or firmware coding and PCIe/NVMe protocols.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to analyze test results and improve validation coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation test plans on SSD devices on PC systems.
• Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and improve test coverage.
• Perform failure analysis and collaborate with other teams to resolve SSD issues.
• Provide system analysis support for customer or yield-related issues.
• Improve customer integration experience.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency and quality.
