Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited is seeking an Electrical Maintenance professional to perform maintenance works in line with the maintenance plan and to carry out projects as required.

You will troubleshoot plant faults, prepare specifications, and oversee maintenance activities while ensuring safety compliance. The role involves supervising contract works, producing technical and trip reports, and participating in emergency responses as part of the CERT team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Solid knowledge in Electrical systems.
• Self-motivated team player with good planning and problem solving skills.
• Strong safety mindset and workplace safety behavior.
• Be part of the CERT team and participate in emergency responses when called.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to resolve plant faults.
• Prepare technical specs for equipment parts, services, and raise requisition papers.
• Conduct scheduled plant inspections and execute maintenance activities.
• Supervise maintenance contracts and prepare work procedures.
• Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports, overhaul, and trip reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A member of the Electrical team, you will be responsible for performing Electrical maintenance works in accordance to maintenance plan including carrying out projects as required.

Job Descriptions

• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve plant faults
• Execute approved plant improvement works and prepare technical specifications for equipment parts, work services and raise requisition papers
• Perform scheduled plant inspection according to maintenance regime and execution of plant maintenance activities
• Supervision of maintenance contract works and prepare work procedures for all maintenance activities
• Preparation of weekly and monthly activity reports, overhaul, technical and trip reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a keen interest to build a career in the Power industry
• Sound knowledge in Electrical
• Self-motivated team player; analytical mind with strong planning & problem solving skills
• Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.
• Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
