Job summary

United Power & Resources Pte. Ltd. is seeking a lead technician to manage power system setup and maintenance for projects locally and overseas. The role requires operating generators, transformers, and related equipment while ensuring safety and reliability.

You will supervise junior technicians, respond to emergencies, and travel to overseas sites to install and maintain systems as needed. Strong wiring, schematics reading, and safety discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or 2 years relevant work experience.
• Class 3 driving license is required.
• Ability to read electrical single-line drawings and interpret power system configurations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage power system setup and maintenance projects locally and overseas.
• Operate generators, load banks, transformers, chillers and other equipment per project needs.
• Schedule tasks and coordinate Junior Technicians with clear communication.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore power.
• Travel overseas to set up and maintain power systems for company projects.
• Configure power systems for projects in Singapore and abroad, ensuring readiness and safety.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
• Lead team communications to achieve project goals and maintain performance.
• Perform LV and MV electrical work in compliance with safety standards.

Job Summary

Lead power system setup and maintenance projects locally and overseas, operate company equipment, manage junior technicians, and respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to ensure continuous power supply.

Responsibilities

• Operate company equipment including generators, load banks, transformers, industrial air conditioners, and chillers to support project power needs
• Schedule and assign tasks to Junior Technicians, ensuring clear communication and effective team coordination
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls to restore power systems and minimize downtime
• Travel and attend overseas assignments to set up and maintain power systems for company projects
• Set up and configure power systems for projects in Singapore and overseas, ensuring operational readiness and safety
• Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve faults efficiently
• Read and interpret electrical single-line drawings to understand and manage power system configurations
• Lead and communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals and maintain team performance
• Perform Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical work in compliance with safety standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or minimum 2 years relevant work experience
• Class 3 driving license

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Ability to read electrical single-line drawings and provide an overall understanding of power systems
