Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the operation, maintenance and optimisation of electrical systems within a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plant in Singapore.

You will lead asset lifecycle decisions, develop CBM/PM/PdM strategies and coordinate outages with contractors. The role requires 8+ years in power generation, HV/gas turbine experience, and strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE/NEC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with 8+ years in Power Generation, preferring CCGT.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE and NEC standards.
• Experience with high‑voltage equipment, generator protection, and distribution systems.
• Proficient in ETAP, SKM and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Familiar with Condition Monitoring, PdM and Digital Twin technologies.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate outages.
• Experience with 400KV/230KV/66KV GIS and grid interconnection requirements.
• Certifications in Electrical Safety Awareness, LOTO and HV switching.
• Commitment to safety and proactive emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance and optimisation of electrical assets in a CCGT plant.
• Serve as technical authority for electrical assets and lifecycle management.
• Develop maintenance strategies integrating CBM, PM and PdM.
• Coordinate outages, scope development, and contractor management.
• Design and maintain single‑line diagrams, schematics and documentation.
• Analyse electrical performance data to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Lead electrical upgrade projects including CAPEX planning.
• Collaborate with OEMs and vendors for technical support and parts.
• Perform fault diagnostics, RCA and protection system reviews.
