Job summary

Venture International PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Engineer, R&D (Electronics) to join our HQ team in Ang Mo Kio.

You will design and develop electronics circuits and embedded systems to meet advanced life science instrumentation requirements. You will coordinate fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes, perform system analyses to optimize designs, and ensure compliance with safety and EMC standards while collaborating with manufacturing and suppliers across the product

Qualifications

• Masters or degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electronic product design.
• Experience in embedded microprocessor system design and power management.
• Knowledge of PC architecture, high-speed bus protocols, and signal integrity.
• Experience with medical product compliance is a plus.
• Simulation tools such as PSpice and programming in Python are advantageous.
• Willing to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronics circuits andembedded systems to meet product specifications.
• Conduct system analyses to optimize design solutions for performance and cost.
• Coordinate fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance.
• Author specifications, requirements and validation plans for assigned modules.
• Work with manufacturing teams and suppliers across the product lifecycle.
• Participate in technical discussions and present design solutions to stakeholders.

AsanEngineer,R&D(Electronics),youwill:

• InnovateandCreatevalueforNextGenerationofadvancecomplexsysteminLifeScienceinstrumentation.
• Developanddesignelectronicscircuitsandsystemsformeetingproductsspecifications.
• BrainstormandContributeOutofBoxsolutiontocreatevaluetobusinessandcustomers.
• Conductsystemanalysistoachieveoptimizeddesignsolutiontomeetdesignspecification,projectscheduleandcosttarget.
• Ensuredesignmeetallregulatoryrequirements.
• Participateintechnicaldiscussionsandpresentationofdesignsolutionstocustomer.
• Coordinatethefabrication,assemblyandvalidationofprototypestoensurecompliancetospecifications.
• Authorofspecifications,requirementsandvalidationplansfordesignmoduleassigned.
• WorkwithVentureManufacturingteamandsuppliersthroughouttheproductcycleinafast-pacedenvironment.

Requirements:

• Masters/DegreeinElectronics/ElectricalEngineering
• 3-5yearsofexperienceinelectronicproductdesign.Engineer.
• Experienceinembeddedmicroprocessorsystemdesign,powermanagementelectronicsandsmallsignalanalogdesign
• Experienceinproductdevelopmentisaddedadvantage.
• KnowledgeinPCarchitecture,HighSpeedIOBusprotocols(suchasDDR,FSB,PCI-X),signalintegritytechniquesandhigh-speedhardwaredesign
• Goodunderstandingofproductsafety,environmentaltestingisadvantageous,EMCisamust.
• Strongknowledgeofelectronicsfundamentalandprinciples
• Goodteamplayerwithstrongpassionforproductdesign
• ExperienceinmedicalproductcompliancestandardsuchasISO13485/IEC61010-1,isanaddedadvantage
