Job summary

Exentec Singapore Pte Ltd seeks an Engineer Process to lead maintenance and startup activities for CDS, SDS and process systems in a semiconductor/chemical environment. You will troubleshoot equipment, plan maintenance, manage spares, and drive improvement initiatives.

The role requires an engineering degree or diploma, with preferred experience in related industries, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. On-site in Singapore with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma required, with preference for chemical/mechanical/mechatronics/electrical & instrumentation.
• Experience in semiconductor, chemical or gas industries is a plus.
• FMEA, 8D and 5 Whys knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong MS Office and computer skills expected.
• Good communication and leadership qualities essential.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Plan, schedule and perform maintenance activities; maintain updated records.
• Lead startups, commissioning and installation of CDS, SDS and process systems.
• Manage spare parts inventory and lead continuous improvement projects.
• Train technicians and engineers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ensure safety standards and housekeeping, support audits.
• Generate reports and present findings to management and clients.
• Provide 24-hour standby for emergencies and troubleshooting.

Position Engineer Process

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for troubleshooting equipment failures.
2. Plan, schedule and perform predictive and corrective maintenance.
3. Ensure accurate and updated maintenance records.
4. Provide maintenance report and conduct meetings.
5. Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
6. Track incidents, uptime, downtime, MTBF and MTTR.
7. Perform FMEAs and implement solutions.
8. Manage spare parts inventory and ordering.
9. Lead the team for timely completion of all required tasks.
10. Training of technicians/new engineers on equipment (i.e CDS and SDS) operation and maintenance.
11. Ensure high standards on safety and housekeeping and assist in such audits.
12. Generate reports, brainstorming and doing presentations to management and clients.
13. Lead startup, commissioning, installation of CDS, SDS and process systems.
14. Involved and lead improvement plan and ongoing projects.
15. 24-hour standby for emergency activation or shutdown troubleshooting.
16. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering field or equivalent (preferred in Chemical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical & Electronic or Control & Instrumentations)
• Working experience in semiconductor or chemical and gas industry (is added advantage)
• Experience in 8D methodology with 5Whys analysis, Fishbone analysis to write incident report (is added advantage)
• Know FMEA process (is added advantage)
• Good in computer skill and Microsoft office
• Strong customer focus
