Job summary

NCS is seeking a motivated Infra Engineer, Network to design, implement, and optimize enterprise and data centre network infrastructure in Singapore. The role covers translating architecture into detailed designs, validating performance, and ensuring security compliance.

You will work on end-to-end network solutions, maintain comprehensive documentation, and drive proactive health checks to sustain high service reliability. A CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred and a degree is required.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of IT or networking experience.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.
• Degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level network architecture into detailed technical designs including physical and logical diagrams, traffic flows, and failover plans.
• Prepare requirement documents and component-level design validations for network solutions.
• Maintain documentation such as test plans, traceability matrices, and design artefacts.
• Configure and implement network infrastructure per design and security requirements.
• Perform baseline security configuration of devices to meet compliance and best practices.
• Use network management tools to monitor, analyse, and report on network performance and status.
• Participate in root cause investigations validating proper operation of network installations.
• Resolve routine to moderately complex network issues using diagnostic tools and structured troubleshooting methods.
• Perform proactive health checks to detect problems early and maintain service reliability.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate network performance, reliability, and integration.
• Conduct functional and integration tests, document results, and report issues or risks.
• Link requirements to test cases with proper traceability for end-to-end solution validation.

Essential Qualifications

• 2-6 years of IT or networking experience
• Networking knowledge: Advanced Routing and Switching, Advanced Wired and Wireless networks, Network Security (ACL, Firewall,VPN, ISE), Network Performance Monitoring, Data Center Network etc
• Cisco Certified Network Associate / Professional (CCNA or CCNP) preferred
• Degree or equivalent
