Job Overview

As an ENGINEER, NAND SILICON DESIGN VALIDATION at Micron, you will be part of an ambitious group committed to developing and validating top-tier NAND Flash memory products. This position covers both pre-silicon concept development and practical post-silicon validation, giving you a full understanding of the product lifecycle. You will work on modern technologies, conduct simulations, compose detailed validation documentation, and identify and resolve design-related problems to secure outstanding product performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and qualify new innovative NAND Flash memory products
• Define and validate product configuration parameters
• Apply CAD tools and Verilog simulations for build verification and in-depth circuit analysis
• Identify build marginalities and recommend circuit-related fixes
• Perform electrical failure analysis to determine root causes of device issues
• Use engineering benches and testers for device characterization and failure analysis
• Support preparation of engineering samples
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work to improve efficiency and quality
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing AI-enabled enhancements

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physics is required
• Knowledge with PyTorch, TensorFlow, SystemVerilog, Linux, and Bash
• Experience with projects such as developing pre-silicon emulation and designing RISC‑V CPU
• Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and circuit building
• Hands‑on experience with Verilog and Cadence tools
• Familiarity with AI/ML efficiency tools to support engineering workflows
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like JMP and Python
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
