In this role you will learn and apply niche testing methodology of memory devices using state‑of‑the‑art testing platforms and work on projects that integrate AI‑assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI‑enabled enhancements within your scope of work.
- Develop and maintain test programs for Micron SSD products in high‑volume manufacturing to ensure they meet specifications.
- Design new test programs for validation and testing of new SSD product/technology during the start‑up phase.
- Optimize test programs and test methodology to reduce product test times.
- Automate test engineering processes by writing software scripts to improve efficiency.
- Enhance test coverage to ensure best‑in‑class outgoing quality.
- Work closely with product and equipment engineering teams to improve overall product yields and equipment efficiency, maximizing ROI.
- Collaborate with test capacity and manufacturing teams to meet production output goals.
- Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of test processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related courses.
- Proficiency in Python programming, with enthusiasm for developing and improving code.
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, or similar engineering workflow tools.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills for test and manufacturing environments.
- Agility to manage and execute prioritized action items from both tactical and strategic perspectives.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts; exposure to AI‑assisted engineering or productivity tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
- Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
