Job summary

ENGIE Services Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a facilities management lead to manage a team of technical officers and technicians.

You will direct investigations for rectifications, liaise with contractors, and produce detailed technical reports and maintenance proposals. The role requires a mechanical engineering background with 5+ years' experience, strong communication, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with more than 5 years' experience.
  • Knowledgeable in ACMV and/or Mechanical works.
  • Good communication skills, positive mindset.
  • Hardworking and able to multi-task.
  • Customer service oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technical officers and technicians for facilities management activities.
  • Advise and lead the technical investigations for rectification works.
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification works or ad-hoc jobs.
  • Investigate, analyze and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively.
  • Prepare technical reports on breakdowns and proposals.
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc project, assignment, maintenance or repair work assigned.
  • Ensure complete documentation of procedures and maintenance works.
  • Plan and develop the technical officer skills.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in liaising with client for all works related to the system in-charge.
  • Plan and execute the yearly maintenance schedule.
  • Conduct daily routine inspections of the facility to ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare quotations, technical reports for equipment breakdowns, and maintenance proposals.
  • Perform or supervise scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure critical spare parts are available for maintenance activities.
