Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer in Singapore to model, analyze and finalize structural designs using advanced analysis software. You will review drawings, specs, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with codes while coordinating with clients and design teams.

Candidates should have a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, 2+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with geotechnical, concrete and steel design. PE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• PE licensed or recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore for Associate level preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, analyzing and finalizing structural design using analysis software.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate with client, architect, construction and M&E teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and check calculation reports for submission.

Job Description Modeling, Analyzing and finalizing structural design for using structure analysis software Review and approval of drawings, specifications, work method statements, risks assessment and others related to the C&S works Ensure all C&S works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice. Shop drawings submission to client/consultant for approval Coordination with the Client, Architect, Construction team, and M&E design team to resolve discrepancies issue and technical issues Prepare and check all calculation reports for submission

Requirements Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent Prefer PE certified or degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore for Associate level Minimum 2 years relevant experience Good exposure in the analysis and design of geotechnical works, concrete structures, steel structures, civil works, or soil-structure interactions Good knowledge of the various engineering design software and analytical tools Applicant who has lesser experience will consider for Engineer role
