Job summary

STAFFKING PTE LTD is seeking a field-side leader for scaffold operations and marine project execution at Changi Naval Base. You will direct the erection, load-compliance, and teardown of temporary access systems to support drydock and ship repair activities, while coordinating with ship repair managers to meet critical milestones.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct the structural engineering, erection, load-compliance, and teardown cycles of temporary access systems to support drydock and ship repair procedures.
• Oversee substrate preparation techniques, marine coating specifications, environmental controls, and paint application standards to ensure corrosion protection and structural longevity.
• Enforce marine safety codes, hazard mitigations, regulatory compliance, and technical safety training across all production and shop-floor operations.
• Direct technical personnel deployment, optimize shift scheduling, track performance metrics, and drive workforce productivity.
• Optimize resource utilization, manage tooling inventory levels, execute material procurement pipelines, and control departmental OPEX budgets.
• Coordinate critical path milestones with ship repair managers and clients, resolve technical bottlenecks, and deliver progress telemetry to senior leadership.

• Basic salary from $4000 - $4400 - Entry Level (Experienced can up to $4800)

Responsibilities:

• Scaffolding Operations: Direct the structural engineering, erection, load-compliance, and teardown cycles of temporary access systems to support drydock and ship repair procedures.

• Surface Preparation & Coatings: Oversee substrate preparation techniques, marine coating specifications, environmental controls, and paint application standards to ensure corrosion protection and structural longevity.

• HSE Compliance: Enforce marine safety codes, hazard mitigations, regulatory compliance, and technical safety training across all production and shop-floor operations.

• Team Execution & Workforce Management: Direct technical personnel deployment, optimize shift scheduling, track performance metrics, and drive workforce productivity.

• Asset & Budget Control: Optimize resource utilization, manage tooling inventory levels, execute material procurement pipelines, and control departmental OPEX budgets.
