Job summary

METECH RECYCLING PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated chemical laboratory technician to support the PMR Manager/Engineer with routine chemical analyses of waste samples and wastewater testing.

You will help maintain the wastewater treatment facility, ensure equipment calibration and maintenance as per quality system requirements, and prepare reports for regulatory bodies. You may liaise with external service providers on supplies and calibration to keep the lab functioning smoothly.

Job description

To the assist the PMR Manager/Engineer by providing chemical analytical support;
To conduct chemical essays and analyses on waste samples;
To conduct tests on waste water before discharge into public sewer;
To manage the waste-water treatment facility;
To ensure that all equipment are properly maintained and calibrated as per quality system accreditation requirements;
To maintain the chemical laboratory to ensure its smooth operation;
To prepare reports for regulatory bodies, standard operating procedures and other laboratory-related documents;
To liaise with external service providers on supplies, equipment calibration, maintenance and repair; and
To perform any other duties as assigned by a superior.
