Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of UPW and WWTP systems to ensure efficient operation within specified parameters.
• Ensure quality control of water and wastewater systems, maintain regulatory compliance, and conduct regular inspections to uphold standards.
• Resolve routine and non‑routine problems promptly using systematic approaches to identify and fix issues.
• Identify and address issues to enhance system stability and reliability, implementing improvements to prevent future problems.
• Enforce safety compliance, adhere to government regulations, and ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Collaborate with system engineers on environmental sustainability projects focusing on energy reduction, water conservation, and waste recycling initiatives.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors and vendors to implement corrective and preventive maintenance programs.
• Perform PM/CM activities for systems, following SOP, RA, and PTP requirements, ensuring all maintenance is conducted safely and efficiently.
• Generate and update maintenance work orders, check inventories on the Facility Management System (FMS), and maintain accurate records.
• Implement TPM principles to enhance equipment efficiency, minimize downtime, and foster a proactive maintenance culture.
• Understand LOTO devices required during PM/CM activities, perform PTP and RA, and ensure safety measures are in place.
• Follow safety procedures, particularly when entering confined spaces, and select the correct PPE for the respective activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Chemical or Environmental Engineering preferred.
• Experience: Relevant experience in water or wastewater systems, or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and other analytics tools, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
