Job summary

CES-PRECAST PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated engineer to prepare and submit shop drawings for each project according to the schedule.

The role requires identifying discrepancies and coordinating with Team Leaders and the Design Manager. Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and at least 5 years in the precast industry, with proficiency in CAD software and basic Tekla skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient with CAD software and basic Tekla skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and submit the necessary shop drawings for each project based on the schedule.
• Highlight any discrepancies and/or missing information to their respective Team Leaders and to the Design Manager.
• Assess their respective works, especially the Bar Schedules, Quantity Tables and check for typographical errors, and revise as needed.
• Review documents/drawings if Consultant/Main Contractor raises comments or new instructions, confer with Team Leader/Design Manager before revisions.
• Execute any other tasks deemed necessary to ensure timely completion of projects.

Job Scopes:

• Create and Submit the necessary shop drawings for each project based on the schedule
• Highlight any discrepancies and/or missing information to their respective Team Leaders and to the Design Manager
• Responsible for assessing their respective works, especially the Bar Schedules, Quantity Tables and check for any typographical errors, and be able to revise them accordingly should the need to do so arise
• Review the document/s and/or drawing/s should the Consultant/Main Contractor raise a comment or concern about the submitted shop drawing/s, or give a new instruction, and if necessary confer or consult with their Team Leader, Assistant Design Manager and Design Manager before applying any revision.
• Execute any other tasks that the Design Manager deems necessary to ensure the timely completion of any given project

Requirements (Qualification & Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years' of experience in Precast Industry
• Proficient using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and with basic knowledge using Tekla software
