Job summary

Pikasa Construction Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Civil/Structural Engineer to support the Project Manager in planning, on-site technical matters, and authority submissions. The role involves QEHS system oversight, site supervision, data analysis, and preparing blueprints to meet technical specs.

You will conduct site investigations, update progress with scheduling tools, handle shop drawings and monthly claims, and address customer complaints with practical resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, supervision and communication abilities.
• Experience in building engineering projects including new builds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in project planning and on-site technical matters.
• Assist in managing QEHS system implementation and submissions.
• Supervise and monitor projects to meet procedures and specs.
• Monitor progress of works to conform to schedule.
• Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings).
• Prepare feasible studies and blueprints satisfying specs.
• Oversee inspections carried out at the work site.
• Update structural/architectural and M&E progress using scheduling tools.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials, MOS, monthly progress claims, and PM reports.
• Analyze customer complaints and provide creative resolutions.

Job description

Report to Preoject Manager, the Engineer has the following responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in project planning, all on-site technical/ engineering matter and authority submissions
• Assist the Project Manager in managing and implementing the quality, environmental, health and safety (QEHS) management system of Pikasa Construction Engineering Pte Ltd
• Supervise and monitor projects are carried out in accordance to operating procedures, quality standards and contractual specifications.
• Monitor progress of works and site activities to ensure adherence to project timeline
• Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc)
• Carry out technical feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Responsible for all inspection activities carried out at work site
• To update all structural/architectural and M&E progress with scheduling tools
• To prepare and submit shop drawing/ material/ MOS monthly progress claims and PM report
• To analyze customer complaints and provide advise and resolve problems creatively

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
