Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an on-site Engineer to support maintenance of MEP systems and facilities in Singapore. The role requires responding to RM/CM tasks, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the Venue Team for events.

Responsibilities include daily equipment checks, ensuring 100% readiness, and leading the team when managers are unavailable. Strong safety culture and timely escalation are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• English literacy sufficient for instruction and reporting.

• Skills in deploying manpower for tasks and shifts.
• Familiarity with tools asset management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Attend to TAM or helpdesk case assignments on site and rectify issues promptly.
• Brief technicians and coordinate responses during emergencies following safety protocol.
• Assist senior engineer with event coordination and maintenance tasks.
• Perform planned, preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance.
• Conduct daily checks of M&E equipment and keep plant rooms in good condition.
• Lead and manage the team in the absence of supervisors.

JOB PURPOSE

• Attend to TAM or helpdesk case assign by the Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer on site, carry out permanent rectification or temporary repair/fix (when necessary) within given time
• Respond quickly and brief the technicians on; in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
• Assist the Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer for coordination in all events or issues assigned
• Assist the Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer in attending to reactive maintenance (RM) and or corrective maintenance (CM)
• To perform planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and reactive maintenance
• To conduct daily routine checks for the M&E equipment’s, plant rooms and maintain the equipment’s in good operational condition
• To assist Venue Team request’s during event and non-event days
• Manage, plan and execution of the Scheduled Facility Program Maintenance (SFPM), ensure with 100% work completion
• To ensure smooth operation of MEP equipment and equipment to be 100% readiness
• Quick response to all Reactive Maintenance and complete within contractual requirement
• Assist the Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer to review and ensure critical spare part availability
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, able to get control of the situation and do escalation accordingly
• Completion and follow up on any other works assigned by supervisor
• Ensure and conduct general housekeeping and tidiness of workplace and workspace
• Able to lead/manage the team, in absence of Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer
• Able to multi-tasked, timing flexibility
• Paperwork not limited to; checklist, presentation slides, weekly report and etc.
• Assist the Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer to monitor and control expenditure within budget allocated
• Assist the Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer on project management including task delegation, work schedule and documentation

• Fast, efficient, and accurate when escalating problem up to Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer
• Strong will on integrity and responsibility tasked to him
