Job summary

National Environment Agency (NEA) in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support field enforcement operations through planning, quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and outsourced providers to ensure enforcement activities comply with policies and standards, conduct audits and reviews, and drive process improvements for better service delivery in environmental public health.

Qualifications

• Experience in enforcement, investigations, or operations is preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Ability to assess complex situations and exercise sound judgement.
• Strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Interest in environmental public health.
• Mature, independent and resourceful.
• Able to work under pressure with a professional stance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and public holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and implementation of enforcement operations and related initiatives
• Conduct audits, reviews, and quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to enforcement protocols and contractual obligations
• Review public feedback, appeal and case representations, assess enforcement records, and evidence, and provide recommendations in accordance with prevailing policies and guidelines
• Assist in the implementation of process improvement and innovation projects to improve operational effectiveness and service delivery
• Any other ad‑hoc duties assigned
