Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Engineer to design, administer and support SCCM/MECM environments, deploying applications and updates while strengthening security compliance across enterprise scale.

You will automate tasks with PowerShell, collaborate with infrastructure, network and security teams, and contribute to documentation and change management. A minimum of 5 years of SCCM/MECM experience and strong Windows Server skills are required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years hands-on SCCM/MECM experience.
• Strong Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 knowledge.
• Experience designing and managing SCCM infrastructure.
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation.
• Knowledge of STIG/CIS security benchmarks is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Engineer to design, administer and support Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environments. The role involves maintaining endpoint management infrastructure, deploying applications and updates, strengthening security compliance, and automating operational tasks across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, administer and maintain SCCM/MECM infrastructure, including site systems, Management Points and Distribution Points.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability and performance, and troubleshoot issues affecting endpoint management services.
• Package, test and deploy applications, software updates and configuration changes using SCCM/MECM.
• Manage patch deployment and support vulnerability remediation activities in collaboration with security and infrastructure teams.
• Implement security hardening and compliance configurations aligned with applicable STIG requirements and CIS benchmarks.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administration, reporting, deployment and troubleshooting tasks.
• Support Windows Server2016,2019 and2022 environments underpinning endpoint management services.
• Troubleshoot deployment, client communication and connectivity issues involving DNS, DHCP, firewalls and VLANs.
• Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration records, operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security and application teams to deliver reliable endpoint management services.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations and changes in accordance with established change management processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SCCM/MECM administration and architecture.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server2016,2019 and2022 environments.
• Proven experience designing and managing SCCM infrastructure, including Distribution Points, Management Points and other site system roles.
• Solid understanding of application packaging, testing and deployment using SCCM/MECM.
• Experience implementing security hardening and compliance configurations using STIG requirements and CIS benchmarks.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and operational support.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, firewalls and VLANs, as they relate to endpoint management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, co-management and hybrid endpoint management.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Knowledge of patch management and vulnerability remediation processes.
• Experience administering Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Understanding of ITIL frameworks and change management processes.
• Relevant Microsoft endpoint administration certification or equivalent.
• Experience managing multi-site or regional SCCM/MECM deployments.
