Sciente International Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Architect / Technical Lead. You will design, implement and manage enterprise EUC solutions with MECM, Windows 10/11 deployments, VMware Horizon VDI and Intune, leading technical initiatives.

You will optimize endpoint performance, ensure security and compliance, develop PowerShell automation, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with IT teams to deliver reliable EUC services.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering.
• Hands-on EUC solution design, deployment and support.
• MECM/SCCM expertise required.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk deployments.
• Experience with OS deployment, imaging, task sequences and Windows 10/11 upgrades using MECM.
• Experience with patch management, software updates, and endpoint compliance management.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint provisioning, inventory, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with Windows desktops and enterprise endpoint management.
• Knowledge of MECM infrastructure components (site servers, DP, MP, boundaries, client health).
• Understanding of endpoint security, encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable EUC solutions across desktops, laptops, tablets, and virtual desktops.
• Manage MECM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, and client deployments.
• Design and troubleshoot MECM task sequences for Windows imaging, deployment, upgrades and migrations.
• Manage packaging, testing, deployment, and software distribution across endpoints.
• Plan and execute Windows security updates, patch cycles, and remediation activities.
• Oversee device provisioning, configuration, inventory, and retirement.
• Support MECM and Intune integration, co-management and cloud-based management.
• Implement and maintain VMware Horizon and thin client environments.
• Lead endpoint migrations and OS upgrades, from on-premises to cloud-based management.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate provisioning, deployment, patching and troubleshooting.
• Implement endpoint security controls, BitLocker, and patch compliance reporting.
• Monitor EUC infrastructure, analyze MECM logs and drive corrective actions.
• Provide architectural guidance and mentor junior engineers.
• Maintain architecture docs, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security and service desk teams.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Architect / Technical Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to design, implement, and manage enterprise EUC solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MECM, Windows 10/11 deployments, VMware Horizon VDI, Microsoft Intune, and endpoint migration projects, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives, optimize endpoint performance, and ensure security and compliance across the organization.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Must haveexperience in End User Computing (EUC) solution design, implementation, and support;
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM);
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, bulk deployments, and endpoint administration;
• Experience with operating system deployment, imaging, task sequences, and Windows 10/11 upgrades using MECM;
• Experience in Windows patch management, software updates, and endpoint compliance management;
• Strong knowledge of endpoint provisioning, configuration, inventory, and lifecycle management;
• Experience with Windows desktops, laptops, and enterprise endpoint management;
• Knowledge of MECM infrastructure components, including site servers, distribution points, management points, boundaries, boundary groups, and client health;
• Understanding of endpoint security, encryption, access controls, and organizational compliance requirements;

Desired Skill-set

• Relevant Microsoft certifications in endpoint management or modern workplace technologies would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable EUC solutions covering desktops, laptops, tablets, thin clients, and virtual desktop environments.
• Manage MECM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, management points, boundaries, boundary groups, client deployments, and overall infrastructure health;
• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot MECM task sequences for Windows 10/11 imaging, deployment, upgrades, and migrations;
• Manage application packaging, testing, deployment, software distribution, and application troubleshooting across enterprise endpoints;
• Plan and execute Windows security updates, monthly patch cycles, software updates, compliance monitoring, and remediation activities;
• Oversee device provisioning, configuration, inventory, software installation, compliance, and retirement;
• Support MECM and Intune integration, endpoint co-management, cloud-based device management, and migration to modern management solutions;
• Implement and maintain VMware Horizon and thin client environments, ensuring availability, performance, and a consistent user experience;
• Lead endpoint migration initiatives, Windows operating system upgrades, application migrations, and transitions from on-premises to cloud-based management;
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate endpoint provisioning, application deployment, patching, troubleshooting, and routine administrative tasks;
• Implement endpoint security controls, BitLocker encryption, security policies, compliance baselines, and patch compliance reporting;
• Monitor EUC infrastructure and endpoint health, analyze MECM logs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions;
• Provide architectural guidance, conduct technical reviews, coordinate implementation activities, and mentor junior engineers;
• Maintain architecture documents, deployment procedures, operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-transfer materials;
• Work with infrastructure, network, security, application, and service desk teams to deliver reliable and secure EUC services.
