About the Role
Are you passionate about shaping a positive workplace culture for a distributed workforce? We are looking for a hands-on Employee Engagement & Experience Lead to drive the engagement and retention of approximately 300-400 employees deployed across various client sites. In this full-time, Singapore-based role, you will complement our existing HR function and partner closely with HR, account management, and delivery teams. Your core mandate is to create a consistent, trusted experience for professionals working at client locations from their initial onboarding to ongoing connection, issue resolution, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Engagement Journey: Design and execute a consistent engagement journey for deployed employees, spanning from onboarding through the completion of their assignments.
- Active Support: Conduct structured check-ins at key milestones and maintain regular contact with employees stationed at client locations.
- Issue Resolution: Act as an accessible first point of contact for workplace concerns, support needs, and grievances, ensuring they are triaged and escalated appropriately.
- Community Building: Build effective communication channels, employee forums, and community initiatives to foster a sense of belonging and connection.
- Proactive Intervention: Identify early indicators of disengagement, potential attrition, or assignment risk, and coordinate timely interventions.
- Collaboration & Tracking: Work closely with recruitment, HR, account managers, and delivery teams to improve the employee experience while tracking engagement themes, retention indicators, and recurring pain points.
- Compliance: Ensure all engagement practices align with internal policies and Singapore employment requirements.
Experience & Capabilities
- Relevant background in employee engagement, workforce care, HR operations, employee relations, or contractor management within Singapore.
- Prior experience supporting a sizeable distributed, client-deployed, consulting, or outsourced workforce is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Singapore workplace practices, coupled with the cultural sensitivity needed for a diverse workforce.
- A proven track record of handling confidential information, sensitive employee conversations, and grievances with trust and sound judgement.
- Strong stakeholder coordination, case management, and follow-through skills.
- A warm and credible communication style, alongside the professional judgement to set boundaries and elevate issues when required.
