Job summary

AMETEK Compliance Test Solutions (CTS) seeks a Service and Support Engineer in Singapore to provide lab-based and customer-site service, calibrations, and support for EMC test and amplifier equipment. You will perform troubleshooting, testing, and calibrations with hands-on electronics expertise and collaborate with customers and factories.

Responsibilities include on-site service, calibration to ISO 17025, documentation, and occasional travel across Asia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering.
3+ years of calibration/repair experience for electronic equipment.
Strong electronics background, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Read and interpret schematics and block diagrams.
Excellent oral and written English communications.
Independent, confident, persistent, assertive, committed and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

Support regional service manager to establish a professional service and support business.
Improve workflows and processes within responsibility area.
2nd level fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs (in-house and on-site).
Coordinate service and calibration requirements between customers and factories.
Electrical calibration per ISO 17025 requirements.
Commissioning, installation and training of products/systems.
Travel up to 20-30% in Asia for service and support functions.
Manage and keep records of service and support cases.
Prepare service quotations and estimates.
Keep track of service revenues.
