Job summary

WAGO Group is establishing an R&D Competence Center in Singapore to advance sensor technology and power electronics for EV, energy, and building sectors. We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with hands-on experience in software development for microcontroller platforms, focusing on DC voltage technologies.

You will work with hardware and testing teams, design software architectures, create development tools, and help optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Masters degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience specifying, designing, developing, and testing embedded software systems.
• Familiarity with C, C++, and Assembly.
• Fundamental understanding of microcontroller peripherals, hardware-software interaction, and RTOS.
• Exposure to communication technologies and bus systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

The focus of the new R&D Competence Center in Singapore will lay on the business areas of sensor technology and power electronics for serving the energy, building, and EV sectors.

We are looking for someone who enjoys and has experience in Embedded Software development/design.

Scope of Tasks & Responsibilities
