WAGO ELECTRONIC PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Product Manager with a proven track record and a passion for sensors and power electronics. You will own market-driven product definitions for Relays, Optocouplers and Transducers within industrial applications, driving features from concept to launch.

You will translate market requirements into specifications, develop multi-year roadmaps, collaborate across global teams, and support go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of Product Management experience in a mid-sized or large industrial company.
• Proven track record delivering products from scratch to launch.
• In-depth understanding of international B2B markets and dynamics.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, internal and external, on an international level.
• Open to travel to different locations to gain field insights.
• Experience collaborating with developers, project managers and global functions.

Responsibilities

WAGO is a well-known Electronic Automation Company who is represented in Singapore with a fully owned subsidiary for more than 25 years and has a well-established infrastructure locally.

We have set up a R&D Competence Center in Singapore to better cope with the arising global market demand. The new R&D Competence Center will start its operations in the already existing infrastructure in Singapore.

The focus of the new R&D Competence Center in Singapore will lay on the business areas of sensor technology and power electronics for serving the energy, building, industrial and future mobility sectors.

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Product Manager, someone with a proven track record and a genuine interest in sensors/power electronics devices/industrial power supplies. If you bring a wealth of experience in product management, coupled with a passion for advancing sensor technology and power electronics, we welcome you to apply for this role.

Your scope of tasks & responsibilities

• Market analysis and understanding: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitor analysis to define product strategy. Have an overview of the global market directions regarding the portfolio of Relays, Optocouplers, and Transducers in different applications.
• Product specifications: Translate market requirements into clear product features and specifications covering software, hardware, and documentation while developing compelling business cases for proposed products or features. Also ensure effective communication of requirements to the engineering team, including systems architects and product owners.
• Strategic planning: Contribute to the development of a multi-year strategic roadmap aligned with organizational goals and prioritize new developments based on applications, features, and functions, considering necessary form factors.
• Global market responsibility: Take the initiative to collect information pertaining to the market through both desktop studies and customer visits. Identify the right people to investigate the pain points of the existing solutions with our existing customer base as well as newly identified stakeholders.
• International Go-to-Market strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to define and execute a robust go-to-market strategy for products under the portfolio. Assist in developing marketing collateral materials to communicate the product's value proposition effectively.
• Sales support: Assist the sales team in key customer meetings and technical workshops. Provide expertise in addressing functional, use case, and commercial (manufacturing cost and market price level) questions from internal and external stakeholders.

Your professional profile -qualifications &competences-

• Bachelor/Master of Science degree in technical field, preferably in Electrical / Electronic engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of Product Management experience in a mid-sized or large industrial company.
• Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering products from scratch to launch.
• In-depth understanding of international B2B markets and dynamics.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external, and on the international playing field.
• Open to travel to different locations to have a close-to-field vision towards all different applications and pain points
• International collaboration skillsets, working with developers, project managers, internal functions around the globe
