Job summary

Dyson Operations Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced platform software engineer with strong C and C++ skills to develop embedded software and firmware for smart IoT devices. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from design to deployment and testing, within an agile team.

You will design platform software, bring up platforms on embedded Linux/RTOS, and lead debugging with multiple hardware and firmware teams, while optimizing performance and defining robust CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, CS, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of embedded software development on Linux and RTOS.
• Fluent in English; strong communication.
• Experience with embedded Linux kernel/driver porting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement platform software for AI applications on Dyson products.
• Bring up new platform and peripherals on embedded Linux/RTOS and lead debugging with hardware teams.
• Profile performance and drive cross-stack optimizations.
• Manage life cycle of multiple complex modules: build/test/release.
• Build and set up CI/CD pipeline and development tools.
• Automate development and release processes.
• Ensure product performance and test automation efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and disseminate best practices.
• Identify technical risks and influence teams accordingly.
