Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is helping a client in the elevator and escalator sector to hire a Sales Engineer in Singapore. The role focuses on developing and managing sales opportunities for repair, replacement or modernisation solutions.

The job entails site surveys, understanding customer requirements, preparing technical proposals and quotations, presenting solutions and negotiating to secure orders, while coordinating with internal teams for timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Sales & Marketing, Business.
• 2-3 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering.
• Experience in lift/elevator, building services, or related industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP/ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries and understand technical, operational and commercial requirements to recommend solutions.
• Conduct site surveys and equipment assessments to identify technical needs and options.
• Collaborate with factory representatives, engineering and technical teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare technical enquiries, cost estimates, proposals and supporting documentation for approvals.
• Present proposals to customers, negotiate terms and secure orders to meet targets.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, purchasing, subcontractors and suppliers to support project execution.
• Act as main contact for customers, provide regular project updates and address enquiries.
