Job summary

Otis, a leading global elevator and escalator company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining and servicing a portfolio of elevator units to ensure safe, reliable operation for passengers and customers.

You will work within a defined territory, perform preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to service calls. The position requires a strong electrical background, safety-first mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team

Qualifications

• Reference qualifications for maintenance mechanics per country.
• Hold a valid driver’s license where required.
• Experience in the elevator sector (months as applicable).
• Strong skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Safety-first mindset in all tasks.
• Good communication abilities with customers and colleagues.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Familiar with using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of elevator maintenance and service visits in your territory.
• Manage the portfolio of elevators within your defined area.
• Respond quickly to fix breakdowns and aim for first-time fixes.
• Perform minor repairs to ensure continual operation.
• Liaise with customers on site to build strong working relationships.
