Job summary
Our Client in Singapore is seeking a plating engineer to design and optimize plating processes that meet quality standards while reducing costs. You will manage plating for new product introductions from strategy through implementation, working with cross-functional teams to choose optimal solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry or related field.
- At least 3 years of plating or manufacturing experience.
- Reel-based continuous electroplating experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize plating processes to meet quality standards while reducing cost.
- Manage plating processes for NPI from strategy to implementation.
- Evaluate plating strategies for new projects with cross-functional teams.
- Apply DFM principles to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
- Review designs for plating feasibility and address constraints early.
- Conduct early plating studies to identify risks and mitigate them.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, automation, and quality teams for timely projects.
