Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. in Singapore’s West region is seeking a hands-on Assembly Technician to join a growing engineering team that assembles, tests and troubleshoots high-precision electromechanical equipment for industrial applications.

You will read engineering drawings, perform wiring and mechanical assembly, and conduct functional testing. Soldering (J-STD) and multimeter skills are essential, as is hands-on trouble-shooting and documentation. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation or a related discipline.
• Experienced in assembly, manufacturing, production testing or electromechanical equipment.
• Skilled in soldering work is a must.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Experience in precision equipment, industrial automation, instrumentation, oil & gas, semiconductor or medical devices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components based on engineering drawings and work instructions
• Perform wiring, cable routing, connector assembly and J-STD soldering
• Conduct functional testing, inspections and basic troubleshooting
• Install and verify sensors, motors and other electromechanical components
• Use hand tools, multimeters, torque tools and other testing equipment
• Record test results and support quality documentation
• Work closely with engineers to improve manufacturing and assembly processes
