Job summary

RECRUIT123 PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Assembly/Process Engineer to lead mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly activities for RF modules and sub-assemblies. You will develop work instructions, jigs, and fixtures to ensure repeatable build quality.

The role includes supporting NPI builds and transitions to volume production, partnering with Quality to meet IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610 standards, and driving continuous improvement to boost throughput and first-pass yield.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2-4 years of assembly/process engineering experience in electronics or precision manufacturing.
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or IPC-A-610 standards.
• Experience supporting NPI and low-to-medium volume, high-mix production environments.
• Strong hands-on, floor-based problem-solving orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly process engineering for RF modules, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies.
• Develop and document assembly work instructions, jigs, and fixtures to ensure repeatable build quality.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds, pilot runs, and transition to volume production.
• Partner with Quality to drive workmanship compliance to IPC/WHMA-A-620 (for harnesses) and customer-specific standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and enhance first-pass yield.
• Support root cause investigations for assembly-related non-conformances and corrective actions (CAPA).
