Job summary

RECRUIT123 PTE. LTD. is seeking a PCB/SMT Process Engineer to lead process development and qualification for electronic assemblies in a Singapore EMS environment.

You will develop and validate SMT process parameters for new product introductions, investigate defects via root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with IPC-A-610/J-STD-001. Collaboration with Quality and NPI teams will be essential to drive yield and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on SMT/PCB process engineering experience in EMS/electronics manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 standards.
• Experience with SMT equipment such as pick-and-place, reflow ovens, AOI/SPI.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own PCB/SMT process development, qualification and continuous improvement for electronic assemblies.
• Develop and validate SMT process parameters for new product introduction (NPI).
• Investigate and resolve process-related defects using root cause analysis and DOE.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 and customer workmanship standards.
• Support FAI and customer audits with Quality and NPI teams.
• Drive yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and process capability initiatives on SMT line.
• Support DFM/DFA reviews with design and engineering teams for new programs.
