Job summary

Camarine Supervision Pte. Ltd. requires an Electrical Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems aboard marine/offshore projects.

You will work on cables, conduits, wiring, and switchboards with a focus on safety and quality under supervision at Tuas Boulevard Yard. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in the marine or heavy industrial sector, reading electrical drawings, and hands-on use of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent in electrical engineering.
• 2+ years experience in marine/offshore/heavy industry.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Familiar with SWBD commissioning and safety procedures including LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems, equipment and devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Conduit and cable installation and terminations.
• Commission switchboard operation and troubleshooting.
• Adhere to HSE and LOTO procedures; provide good customer service.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Installing cables, conduits, tubing, and switches.
• Using power tools safely and efficiently.
• Reading and understanding Electrical drawing, electrical codes.
• Following all electrical safety procedures.
• Repairing or replacing equipment, fixtures, and wiring.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
• Understand Electrical Commissioning and operation of SWBD (Switchboard).
• Understand the usages of electrical test tools
• Good Customer service skills.
• Basis Electrical tolls must bring
• Good Attitude, Teamwork player. Problem-solving.
• Installing and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and devices.
• Strict compliance with yard HSE and safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical technician experience in the marine, offshore, shipyard, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sector.
• Hands-on experience with electrical installation, cable pulling, cable termination, conduit and tubing installation, and equipment wiring.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Familiar with electrical commissioning activities, switchboard (SWBD) operation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Able to safely operate electrical hand tools and power tools.
• Able to work at Tuas Boulevard Yard.
• Able to commence work on short notice or immediately preferred.
