Job summary

Pacific Central Teknik Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled E&I Technician to perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance at customer sites. The role covers troubleshooting, installation, testing, commissioning, and on-site support.

The ideal candidate has a background in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering and is willing to travel, work overtime, and participate in standby duties. Safety awareness and independent teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Relaxed but concise description of required qualifications as stated.
• Experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, servicing, installation, or troubleshooting is preferred.
• Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
• Experience or exposure to Oil & Gas, manufacturing, utilities, boiler & burner, or process industries is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control panels.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and to work overtime/on-call when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, servicing, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Attend site breakdowns and provide technical support to customers.
• Perform cable routing, wiring, termination, and instrument installation.
• Assist with testing and calibration of instruments and control devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate work records.
• Participate in standby/on-call duties and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company and workplace safety requirements.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, control panels, motors, sensors, and industrial equipment.

• Basic knowledge of PLC and industrial automation systems will be an added advantage.
