Job summary

Global Success Talent Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical Technician Intern to support maintenance and operation tasks at Jurong Town. The role offers practical experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment servicing, with a possible transition to full-time based on performance.

Internship duration minimum 6 months with an allowance of S$1100 per month and a 5-day work week on a rotating day/night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) or related field.
• Able to interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and circuitry diagrams.
• Basic knowledge in welding and operating gas-cutting tools and equipment.
• Basic knowledge in operating machine tools.
• Final year/final semester students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine inspections and servicing of machines and equipment.
• Support maintenance across mechanical and electrical installations and facilities.
• Monitor gauges and equipment conditions; assist in preventive maintenance.
• Assist in troubleshooting, repair, and fabrication of jigs/fixtures.

INTERNSHIP POSITION: Electrical Technician Intern

ALLOWANCE: S$1100 / Month

LOCATION: Jurong Town

WORKING SCHEDULE: 5 Days Work Week (according to roster)

INTERNSHIP DURATION: Minim 6 Months

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Electrical Technician Intern to support maintenance and operational activities. This internship provides practical experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment servicing, and workplace operations. High-performing interns may have the opportunity to be converted to full-time employees upon successful completion of the internship.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) or related engineering fields
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and circuitry diagrams
• Basic knowledge in welding and operating gas-cutting tools and equipment
• Basic knowledge in operating machine tools
• Final year and final semester students are preferred
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day Shift and Night Shift)
• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn
  Working Hours
• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:30 AM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance Support:

• Assist in routine inspections and servicing of machines and equipment
• Support maintenance of:
  • Mechanical installations
  • Electrical installations
  • Building facilities
  • Refrigeration and air-conditioning systems
  • Plumbing and sanitary systems
  • Machinery and equipment accessories
• Monitor gauges, thermometers, pumps, and other equipment to identify abnormalities
• Assist in preventive maintenance activities to ensure machines operate efficiently
• Support troubleshooting and repair works for machines and equipment
• Assist in fabrication of jigs and fixtures for operational use
• Update maintenance records and communicate equipment conditions to the maintenance team

Operations Support:

• Assist in restoration activities of recycled cable drums
• Support loading and unloading activities of cable drums
• Maintain records of spare parts and inventory activities
• Coordinate with vendors and engineers for maintenance and inspection activities
• Support workplace safety and housekeeping practices, including 5S activities
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors
