Job summary

M'POWER CONSULTANCY & MANPOWER SERVICES PTE. LTD.

is seeking a site-based electrical engineer to liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E work and to supervise and ensure works comply with contract drawings and specifications. You will coordinate the inspection of works by Resident Engineer or Clerk of Works and handle and resolve technical and engineering problems, coordinating M&E services and preparing drawings for submission.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in loop checks and reading drawings in building construction.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultant, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E work.
• Supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate the inspection of works by Resident Engineer or Clerk of Works.
• Handle and resolve technical and engineering problems.
• Coordinate M&E engineering work and work closely with other department staff to resolve site discrepancies and technical issues.
• Coordinate M&E services and prepare CSD/SEM drawings for submission.
• Coordinate responses to RFI, design clarification and site queries to ensure timely resolution of technical issues during construction.
• Other ad-hoc duties when assigned.

About you

• Min Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• Min 3-5 years of relevant working experience in loop check, read drawings in building construction industry
• Good knowledge of M&E specifications & requirements
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
