Job summary

KILOWATTS ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a skilled M&E supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical works. The role involves coordinating with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure progress and compliance with contract drawings and specifications.

You will prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation and test/commissioning check sheets, and progress reports with the project teams, and assist the Project Manager with budgeting and resolving site issues.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on M&E progress.
• Supervise works to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specs.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation/Testing & Commissioning check sheets, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on shop drawings submission.
• Coordinate/prepare technical submissions with suppliers/subcontractors.
• Assist Project Manager on all M&E matters including schedule.
• Assist in negotiating/procuring materials, equipment and labour within budget.
• Hold technical discussions with stakeholders to resolve site issues.
• Liaise with authorities/subcontractors/clients on shop drawings/equipment submissions, inspections, testing and commissioning.

Job description

1. Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E works.
2. Supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
3. Prepare method statement, shop drawings, installation / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on preparation and submission of shop drawings.
5. Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with suppliers / subcontractors.
6. Assist the Project Manager on all M&E matters including preparing M&E Master Construction and T&C Schedule.
7. Assist Project Manager to negotiate / procure materials, equipment and labour in accordance to (or below) the allocated approved budget.
8. Hold technical discussions with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.
9. Liaise and work with relevant authorities / subcontractors / clients on shop drawings / equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.
