Job summary

JH BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced engineer to coordinate M&E design and on-site installation in Singapore.

The role requires ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and authorities. You will supervise E&M teams, manage method statements, and prepare required drawings for submission and approval. Responsibilities include monitoring installations, solving on-site problems, performing testing with consultants, and handing over to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with Recognized Degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of supervision experience of E&M work in construction site for projects of similar scale and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E design and installation.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and authorities’ requirements.
• Site coordination and manage M&E personnel on progress, drawings, materials, and method statement submissions.
• Prepare CSD & SEM or CCSM drawings.
• Monitor construction installation and resolve issues on site.
• Carry out testing, inspections with consultants.
• Conduct T&C and handover to client.
• Document test reports, equipment records and as-built drawings.
• Supervise workers and sub-contractors for safety and workmanship.
• Adhere to procedures and safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Recognized Degree in engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, P&S design and installation.
• Ensure all works are carry out accordingly to drawings, specification, and compliance to authorities’ requirements.
• Site coordination and manage M&E personnel on work progress, drawings, material, samples, method statement submission and approval, to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Manage and Coordinate SWC.
• Preparation of CSD & SEM or CCSM drawings
• Monitoring of construction installation, field coordination and provide necessary problem solving.
• Carry out testing requirement, inspection with consultants.
• Conduct T&C and Handover to Client.
• Proper documentation of all test report, equipment records and As-built drawings.
• Supervision of workers and sub-contractor to ensure safety and compliance of work on site.
• Adhere to construction procedures and safe work practices and ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.
• Other duties as assigned.
