Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of LV/MV equipment across Southeast Asia.

You will read schematics, operate diagnostic tools, and deliver on-site support, including customer training and detailed service reports.

Candidates should hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of hands-on experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of field service experience in electrical maintenance or commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety practices and testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on key electrical products.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, including wiring, panels, and control systems of motor drive, power transformer, LV switchboard etc.

Troubleshooting

• Identify and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.

Customer Support

• Communicate with customers to understand issues and provide solutions.
• Deliver electrical equipment operation and safety training to clients when required.

Documentation

• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
• Complete safety checklists and compliance documentation.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to electrical safety standards, regulations, and company procedures.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company and industry standards.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical field service, maintenance, troubleshooting, or commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
• Knowledge of LV/MV Transformers, Motor Drives, and LV Switchgear will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia when required.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
